Bayshore Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 62-36 margin over Fruitdale. The victory was just what Bayshore Christian needed coming off of a 55-32 defeat in their prior match.
Leroy posted their biggest victory yet this season on Friday. They breezed by Fruitdale on the road to the tune of 82-42. Leroy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 35 points or more this season.
Leroy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaquan Scott out in front who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Scott continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ray Phillips, who scored 15 points along with seven assists and two steals.
Bayshore Christian's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-12. As for Leroy, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7.
