The Bogue Chitto Bobcats will venture away from home to face off against the Richton Rebels at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bogue Chitto is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.
It was a proper cat-fight when Bogue Chitto challenged Lumberton on Monday. The Bobcats walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Panthers.
Jonna Claire Roberts spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on eight hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
