Rancho Verde waltzed into their contest on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Vista del Lago Ravens as they made off with a 13-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won three games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Jaylen Anderson was a standout: she scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Liah Navarro, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Rancho Verde was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .345 or higher in five consecutive matchups.

Rancho Verde's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Vista del Lago, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
