On Saturday, Breckinridge County came up short against Montgomery County  and fell  52-44.
 Despite the loss, Breckinridge County still got an impressive performance from   Kayleigh Huffines, who  scored nine points along with four  blocks. Another player making a difference was  Kylie Carby, who  scored six points.
 Breckinridge County's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Montgomery County, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Breckinridge County's road trip will continue as they head out to face Muhlenberg County at 7:00  p.m.  on January 5th. Montgomery County and Russell will face off  at 7:30  p.m.  on January 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Russell has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 185 points over their last three matches.
