It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but T.C. Roberson had no problem doing just that on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Laney Buccaneers a 12-0 shutout. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 games by six runs or more this season.

The win was the third in a row for T.C. Roberson, bringing their record up to 26-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Laney, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-6.

T.C. Roberson will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Buccaneers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
