Clinton managed to slip by St. Mary Catholic Central the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Redwolves came up short against the Falcons/Kestrels on Thursday, falling 15-7. The Redwolves' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Kylinn Long and Annabell Preston stepped up to the plate in a big way. Long went 3-for-4 with three runs and one double, while Preston went 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Preston has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played. Mya Popkey also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for St. Mary Catholic Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Clinton will host Ida at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Mary Catholic Central, they will venture away from home to face off against Riverview at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
