The Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin Blue Devils won the last time they faced the Milford Bearcats, and things went their way on Monday too. Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin took down the Bearcats 50-32. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin.
Leading Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin to victory were Marleigh Schmit and Gentry Elson. Schmit scored 15 points, while Elson scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Elson has scored all season. Ella Myers was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Several Bearcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kami Muehling, who scored 11 points along with four steals. Muehling has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Madisyn Laffoon, who scored ten points.
Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season. As for Milford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin will take on the Buffaloes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Georgetown-Ridge Farm will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Milford, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Hilltoppers at 6:00 p.m. Schlarman comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 21 points in their last ten games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
