Meanwhile, Summit Christian Academy pushed their score all the way to 58 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a serious blow against Veritas Collegiate Academy, falling 87-58. Summit Christian Academy just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Despite the loss, Summit Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Cole Miller scored 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Miller has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Chase Miller, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Even though they lost, Summit Christian Academy were working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Grove Christian School's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Summit Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Grove Christian School have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 29.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Summit Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 27.3 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
