Thunderbird Adventist Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Malcolm Tucker, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. It was the first time this season that Tucker pulled down eight or more rebounds. Gideon Orellana was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Thunderbird Adventist Academy's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game.
