The McDonough Rams''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Calvert, falling 56-6. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for McDonough in their matchups with Calvert: they've now lost nine in a row.
Calvert can attribute much of their success to Domaine Wallace Jr., who rushed for 127 yards on only ten carries.
McDonough's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Calvert, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
McDonough does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Calvert will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lackey at 7:00 p.m. Lackey is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
