The Cedarville Indians gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. Everything went their way against Twin Valley South as Cedarville made off with a 68-48 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cedarville also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Twin Valley South's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jace Thuma, who scored 13 points. Trent Ray was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 7 rebounds.
Cedarville's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Twin Valley South, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Cedarville will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Southeastern Local at 7:30 p.m. As for Twin Valley South, they will head out on the road to face off against Legacy Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Legacy Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Friday.
