In what's become a running theme this season, the Bartlett Panthers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They blew past Arlington 65-25 at home. The victory was nothing new for Bartlett as they're now sitting on three straight.
Bartlett's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaylin Sheffield, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carrington Jones, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Despite the loss, Arlington saw an underclassman step up: Taylor Miller scored 14 points along with two steals.
Arlington struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Bartlett has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. As for Arlington, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bartlett won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Link Academy at 6:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Bartlett has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Arlington, they will be playing at home against Germantown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Arlington focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday.
