Lucas Dyer Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Mahomet-Seymour's Lucas Dyer, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Dyer threw for 313 yards and five touchdowns while completing 81.3% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 3.1 passing touchdowns per game.
Dyer must have Mattoon's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Dyer saw the Greenwave), he threw for 175 yards and five touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.
