It was another big night for Kaiden Francis, who scored 18 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of South Plantation's points. Another player making a difference was Lathan Coleman, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
South Plantation's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-2. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 27.21 points. As for Piper, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Plantation will square off against Deerfield Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Deerfield Beach has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 8. Piper will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Fort Lauderdale at 7:25 p.m. on January 11th.
