The Silverado Skyhawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 43-32 to Rancho. The contest was a 18-18 toss-up at halftime, but Silverado was blown out by Rancho in the second.
Defeat or not, Silverado got some senior leadership from Kaitlyn Jack-Keller who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 10 rebounds and Timia Thomas who scored 5 points along with 9 steals and 6 assists. Jack-Keller continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Leaf Riccio, who scored 4 points along with 10 rebounds.
Silverado has yet to win a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 1-6 record. As for Rancho, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Silverado will challenge Cimarron-Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Rancho's road trip will continue as they head out to face Western at 5:00 p.m. on December 4th.
