Jamestown's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maddie Leach, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. Leach is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Vision Pretlow, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
When it comes to explaining why Grafton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Alonni Wells. Despite the final result, she scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Wells is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Taylor Ragland, who scored four points along with 11 rebounds and three blocks.
Jamestown pushed their record up to 19-0 with that win, which was their tenth straight on the road. As for Grafton, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-4 record this season.
