Omaha Westside simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lincoln Northeast 102-65 at home. That's another feather in the cap for Omaha Westside, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Omaha Westside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tyson Odvody, who scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Rickey Loftin, who scored 13 points along with 6 assists and 6 rebounds.
Despite the loss, Lincoln Northeast still got an impressive performance from Cooper Coffman, who scored 15 points. Easton Switzer was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Omaha Westside's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Lincoln Northeast, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Omaha Westside will face off against Lincoln Southwest at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lincoln Northeast, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Platte at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
