After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Arlington, the Great Plains Lutheran Panthers were happy to have found some success  on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a  26-23  win over Northwestern Area. Despite the  win, that was the fewest points Great Plains Lutheran has scored all year.
 Great Plains Lutheran's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Olivia Holmen led the charge by  scoring six points along with six  rebounds and three  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Madeline Prahl, who  scored seven points along with two  steals.
 Great Plains Lutheran is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record  this season. As for Northwestern Area, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.
 Coincidentally,  the two teams will both be playing North Central the next time they take the court. Northwestern Area will  host North Central at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday, while Great Plains Lutheran will head out to face them  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
