Jack Earl gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in March on Wednesday. He was dynamite, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Byers is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-8 otherwise.
