The Unioto Shermans stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They blew past Zane Trace, posting a 73-20 victory on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Unioto who now have five in a row.
Unioto got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Milee Smith out in front who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Magnolia Holbert, who scored 11 points along with seven steals and five assists.
Unioto's win bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Zane Trace, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Unioto will take on the Ironman/Ironladies at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Zane Trace, they will head out on the road to take on the Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Westfall has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games.
