Weslaco East got themselves on the board against Edcouch-Elsa on Thursday, but Edcouch-Elsa never followed suit. They blew past the Yellowjackets 11-0. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won seven matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Antonio Solis was a standout: he scored a run while going 1-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Jayden Del Villar was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
