Baseball Game Preview: Floyd Central Jaguars vs. Betsy Layne Bobcats

For the second straight game, Floyd Central will face off against Betsy Layne. The Jaguars will face off against the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Floyd Central played in-conference for the first time on Thursday and got just the result they were looking for. They put the hurt on Betsy Layne with a sharp 9-3 victory.

Floyd Central got a big performance out of Logan Moore, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three RBI gave Moore a new career-high. Brody Caudill also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Floyd Central's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Betsy Layne, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
