Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Tyshaun Braden and Kentez Anthony Lead KIPP Nashville Collegiate to Victory

There's no place like home for KIPP Nashville Collegiate, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 65-55 win over RePublic on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Leading KIPP Nashville Collegiate to victory were Kentez Anthony and Tyshaun Braden. Anthony posted 22 points, while Braden scored 15 points. Those 22 points gave Anthony a new career-high. Kadarius Johnson was another key player, putting up eight points.

When it comes to explaining why RePublic lost, don't look at Gracien Niyonzima. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Dion Garrett, who earned nine points.

KIPP Nashville Collegiate has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-12 record this season. As for RePublic, they dropped their record down to 0-12 with the defeat, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.

As for RePublic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-51 loss against Stratford on the 24th.
