St. Francis lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Joseph Rose, who scored 11 points along with five assists and four blocks. Rose has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Sam Braun, who scored 16 points along with six assists.
Seaside pushed their record up to 8-10 with that victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.9 points per game. As for St. Francis, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seaside will challenge Alisal at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Alisal will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for St. Francis, they will head out on the road to challenge North Monterey County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
