The Aurora Huskies won the last time they faced the St. Paul Wildcats, and things went their way  on Monday too. Aurora walked away with  a   41-34  win over St. Paul. Winning is a bit easier when  you outrebound your opponent 17 to 7 on the offensive boards, as Aurora did.
 It was another big night for  Denae Nachtigal, who  dropped  a double-double on 21 points and 11  rebounds.  Kenna Merrihew was another key contributor,  scoring six points along with eight  rebounds and two  steals.
 Despite the  defeat, St. Paul had strong showings from  Gracie Kelley, who  scored 12 points along with eight  rebounds, and  Katlyn Oakley, who  scored six points along with five  rebounds and two  steals. Kelley hasn't dropped below eight  rebounds for four straight games. Another player making a difference was  Natalie Poss, who  scored 11 points along with two  steals.
 Aurora's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for St. Paul,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 7-16.
 Aurora won't have much time to rest: their next  matchup is against Grand Island Central Catholic at 6:00  p.m.  on February 13th. Aurora will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings (they are ranked 124th, while Grand Island Central Catholic is ranked sixth). St. Paul does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
