Brentwood Academy (Brentwood, Tenn.) extended its winning streak to five games with a 34-16 victory over
Baylor (Chattanooga, Tenn.) on Saturday.After taking the lead on a
D'montre Wade touchdown run in the first quarter, the Eagles led 27-10 at the half.
Brentwood Academy expanded its lead to 24 points entering the fourth quarter. BA scored once in the quarter on a Wade touchdown run.
Wade was the top performer for the Brentwood school. The senior ran for three touchdowns.
Led by
C.j. Sanders, the Eagles went into the matchup giving up only 14.0 points per game.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 10-7 win for Brentwood Academy.
The loss comes after Baylor defeated McCallie 28-26 last week.
In a non-conference game next week Baylor (4-3) takes on Columbia Central, and Brentwood Academy (5-1) will go up against Battle Ground Academy in a Division II AA - East/Middle game.
