Alli Hayzlett posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 18 over eight innings pitched. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Hood River Valley on Wednesday, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Hayzlett has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 16 consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Hayzlett and Canby are taking a road trip to square off against La Salle at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
