After flying high against the St. Mary's Spartans last Friday, the Swampscott Big Blue came back down to earth. Swampscott fell 28-21 to Marblehead on Thursday. Swampscott lost against Marblehead in their previous head to head back in November of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 48-7 score last time.
Swampscott's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Marblehead, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.
Swampscott does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Marblehead also has no future games currently scheduled.
