Gaither's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Marc Fransberg, who scored 15 points. Jayce Humphries was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Coral Gables has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Gaither, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.
