The Community School of Davidson Spartans stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They breezed by Pine Lake Prep at home to the tune of 73-32. The win was nothing new for Community School of Davidson as they're now sitting on four straight.
Leading Community School of Davidson to victory were Tyler Baughan and Regan Downey. Baughan scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and six steals, while Downey scored 23 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Baughan is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Scarlett Soares, who scored nine points.
Community School of Davidson's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Pine Lake Prep, they bumped their record down to 7-7 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Community School of Davidson will be playing in front of their home fans against Mountain Island Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain Island Charter has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests. As for Pine Lake Prep, they will head out on the road to challenge Christ the King at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Christ the King focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 last Tuesday.
