Heritage Christian is 0-10 against Lake Country Lutheran since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Heritage Christian Patriots will play host again and welcome the Lake Country Lutheran Lightning, where tip off is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. Hopefully Heritage Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Heritage Christian blew past West Allis Central, posting a 70-36 win at home. The win was just what Heritage Christian needed coming off of a 68-47 loss in their prior game.
Heritage Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Amanda Pike, who scored 22 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Pike has scored at least 25% of Heritage Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Morgan Bluhm, who scored 14 points along with 9 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Lake Country Lutheran unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Brookfield Academy by a score of 55-53.
The win got Heritage Christian back to even at 3-3. As for Lake Country Lutheran, they have yet to win a game at home this season, leaving them with a 5-1 record.
Heritage Christian took a serious blow against Lake Country Lutheran in their previous matchup back in January, falling 67-26. Thankfully for Heritage Christian, Haydn Hahm (who scored 18 points along with 5 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
