Decatur Community won the last time they faced Dighton and things went their way on Saturday too. The Decatur Community Red Devils blew past the Dighton Hornets 47-25. The Red Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 22 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Decatur Community to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elsie Larson, who posted 13 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. Larson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. Maria Rodriguez was another key player, putting up nine points and three steals.

Decatur Community pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31 points. As for Dighton, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Decatur Community has already played their next contest (against Wallace County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Dighton will head out on the road to challenge Otis-Bison at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dighton is facing Otis-Bison at the right time seeing as Otis-Bison is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
