Fredericktown will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Herculaneum at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Fredericktown had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were completely outmatched, falling 19-55 to Kennett.
Herculaneum had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They snuck past Cuba with a 18-14 win.
Herculaneum's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Fredericktown's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Herculaneum can add another positive mark to their record or if Fredericktown can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Herculaneum's step.
