The biggest upset of the week belonged to Au Gres-Sims, who took down 485th ranked Atlanta, 24-12.
Mio-Au Sable was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to second in North Star. Earlier in the week, the Thunderbolts triumphed over Hillman 14-9.
Mio-Au Sable's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Brad Rhoads threw for 169 and one touchdown and seth thomey had 58 yards receiving. On the ground aaron wood chipped in 79 yards. chaun obermiller helped Mio-Au Sable's passing attack out by catching three balls for 47 yards.
Atlanta's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Huskies feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Garrett Badgero has thrown for 986 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Jake Chambers has 15 catches for 403 yards. Badgero also leads the league in rushing with 343 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Hale takes on the Wolverines. As it stands, the Eagles are in fifth, while Au Gres-Sims is in fourth.
Jim Gendernalik's team moved up to 551 from 580 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in North Star. A 14-9 win over the Tigers helped the Thunderbolts improve their standing.
