Weehawken is 6-0 against Harrison since December of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. Both teams will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Weehawken has three straight wins, Harrison has ten straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Saturday, Weehawken earned a 23-16 victory over American History.
While Harrison couldn't quite beat Bard on Saturday, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 36-point defeat they were dealt on Friday. Harrison fell just short of Bard by a score of 40-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Harrison has suffered yet this season.
Weehawken's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-5. As for Harrison, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-10.
Weehawken took their win against Harrison in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 41-19. Does Weehawken have another victory up their sleeve, or will Harrison turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
