Columbus waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Sumter County Panthers a 4-0 shutout. Columbus might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit Sumter County with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Will Chiles, Titus Robbins, Christian Bussey, and Charles Frimpong.

Columbus' record is now 12-3. As for Sumter County, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5.

Columbus wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Bremen on the 15th. As for Sumter County, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-2 victory against Westover on the 15th.
