After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matches, Little River Academy finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Lexington Eagles, falling 7-1. The Bumblebees' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Little River Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Lexington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

While Little River Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
