Potsdam moved up to 157 from 287 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Section 7/10 Class A. A 55-18 win over Massena helped the Sandstoners improve their standing.
Potsdam extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Red Raiders, 55-18. The win marks fourth in a row for the Jim Kirka's team.
Massena's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Rory Corcoran threw for 91 yards and Tyler Simms had 35 yards receiving. On the ground JP Reagan chipped in 79 yards. Xavier Viskovich helped Massena's passing attack out by catching two balls for 27 yards.
Massena's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Red Raiders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Corcoran has thrown for 210 yards this season, while Viskovich has six catches for 74 yards. Reagan leads the league in rushing with 352 yards.
The Sandstoners took down Anthony Diagostino's team 55-18 last week, the largest margin of any game.
