Last Friday, Lucy Beckham earned a 47-40 victory over the Trojans. The victory was just what Lucy Beckham needed coming off of a 68-41 loss in their prior matchup.
Lucy Beckham's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Molly Seifert, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Annabelle Cox, who scored four points along with nine rebounds and three blocks.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Hilton Head Island over the Sharks in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Hilton Head Island walked away with a 45-34 victory over the Sharks. Hilton Head Island didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.
Lucy Beckham has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Hilton Head Island, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-15.
Everything went Lucy Beckham's way against the Seahawks when the teams last played back in January as the Bengals made off with a 66-45 victory. With Lucy Beckham ahead 37-13 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
