The Field Falcons managed to keep up with the Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Field was the victim of a rough 61-35 defeat at the hands of Model Secondary School for the Deaf. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Field of the 55-43 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.
Model Secondary School for the Deaf's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Luke Florio, who scored nine points along with seven assists and six steals. Another player making a difference was Tyler Burckhardt, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
Field now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Model Secondary School for the Deaf, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.
Field on the road again on Friday and play against Washington International at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Washington International will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Model Secondary School for the Deaf will take on School Without Walls at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. School Without Walls is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
