The Hunt Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Williams Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
After a string of eight wins, Hunt's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a hard 27-10 fall against Fike. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, Hunt couldn't push the score so high this time.
Hunt's defeat came about despite a quality game from Ny'gir Alston, who picked up 78 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, even though Person scored an imposing 42 points on Friday, Williams still came out on top. Williams walked away with a 55-42 victory over Person. The victory was familiar territory for Williams who now have five in a row.
Williams' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amarion Richmond, who rushed for 108 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, and also picked up 54 receiving yards. Dan Mahan was another key contributor, throwing for 274 yards and a touchdown while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt.
