The Union Cougars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 66-17 loss at the hands of Wasatch. Union has not had much luck with Wasatch recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wasatch to victory, but perhaps none more so than Fili Liava'a, who scored 16 points along with 5 steals. Liava'a is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now stole two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Peyton Behnke, who scored 15 points along with 3 steals.
Union's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Wasatch, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Union will head out on the road to face off against Carbon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Carbon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Tuesday. As for Wasatch, they will be playing at home against Emery at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Emery is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 62.2 points per game.
