Buffalo is 1-9 against Douglas since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Buffalo Bison will head out on the road to take on the Douglas Bearcats at 5:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Buffalo comes in on 11 and Douglas on 19.
Last Saturday, Buffalo faced Powell in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Buffalo sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 52-49 victory over Powell.
Tess Rule continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Karly Davis, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, Douglas earned a 56-48 win over Wheatland on Saturday.
Buffalo's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-1. As for Douglas, their win bumped their record up to 16-0.
Buffalo ended up a good deal behind Douglas when the teams last played back in March of 2023, losing 60-46. Can Buffalo avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
