Christian County is 9-1 against the Falcons since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Christian County Colonels will look to defend their home court against the Fort Campbell Falcons at 6:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Christian County's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while the Falcons have been banged up by 22 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
Even though Crittenden County scored an imposing 61 points on Tuesday, Christian County still came out on top. Christian County had just enough and edged the Rockets out 64-61.
Christian County can attribute much of their success to NeVaeh Day, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds, and Anaysia Bagwell, who scored 24 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Bagwell has scored at least a third of Christian County's points.
Meanwhile, Fort Campbell had to suffer through a rough 54-10 loss at the hands of the Tigers.
Christian County is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Fort Campbell, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.
Everything came up roses for Christian County against the Falcons in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 69-18 victory. Does Christian County have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
