After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jourdanton, Randolph was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Great Hearts Northern Oaks Griffins 5-3. This was a revenge game for the Ro-Hawks: when they faced off against the Griffins back in March, they had to take a 9-8 defeat.

The victory got Randolph back to even at 7-7. As for Great Hearts Northern Oaks, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Randolph will venture away from home to take on Cole at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Great Hearts Northern Oaks, they will head out to square off against Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Griffins' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
