Softball Recap: Gunnison Valley Has No Trouble Against Grand County

Gunnison Valley came out on top against Grand County on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fifth inning. The Bulldogs blew past the Red Devils 10-3. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 13 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Gunnison Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Grand County, they moved to 16-8 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Gunnison Valley has already played their next game, a 5-4 loss against Duchesne on the 28th. Grand County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
