There's no place like home for The Darlington Tigers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Armuchee 49-7 at home. The result was nothing new for Darlington, who have now won five matchups by 24 points or more so far this season.
Darlington's win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.3 points per game. As for Armuchee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
Coincidentally, Darlington and Armuchee will both be playing Trion the next time they take the field. Armuchee will host Trion at 7:30 p.m. on October 27th, while Darlington will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd.
