Horse Creek Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Calhoun County Saints an easy 67-46 victory. One positive for the Stallions, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading Calhoun County to victory were Raniya Tyler and Cassidy Pough. Tyler dropped a triple-double on 25 points, 11 rebounds, and ten steals, while Pough almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine steals. Those 25 points gave Tyler a new career-high. Jamaryia McMichael was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 13 boards.

Horse Creek Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Calhoun County, their win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1.

Horse Creek Academy and Silver Bluff will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Calhoun County will take on Allendale-Fairfax in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
