Living Word Lutheran relied on the efforts of Kaleah Alles, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, and Delaney Winkelmann, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Winkelmann hasn't dropped below two steals for 11 straight games. Hailey Luedtke was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Lake Country Lutheran can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 58-31 win over St. Francis on the road.
Living Word Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 21-1. As for Lake Country Lutheran, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.
Living Word Lutheran skirted past Lake Country Lutheran 47-45 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Living Word Lutheran since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
