Meanwhile, St. Edmund Prep was beaten by St. Joseph Hill Academy 78-27 on Thursday. While losing is never fun, St. Edmund Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 108th, while St. Joseph Hill Academy is ranked 30th).
Moore Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for St. Edmund Prep, they bumped their record down to 4-4 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Moore Catholic against St. Edmund Prep in their previous meeting back in January as the team secured a 66-30 victory. With Moore Catholic ahead 34-13 at the half, the match was all but over already.
